Intro // So. I think a lot. Like, a lot a lot.

Hence - I made this little corner of the internet to park my thoughts on business, people, interesting things I've been seeing and reading and occasional hot takes.

Yes, I know there are already a million platforms to write, post, or pretend to be profound - but I wanted a space that’s a bit more me. Messy, curious, and ever-evolving.

Glad you’re here. Stay, scroll, snoop. I won’t mind //

What Everyone Is Getting Wrong About AI And Jobs

Garry Tan explains why the two extreme narratives around AI (one predicting the end of human work and the other being dismissive) are flawed, and the truth is more nuanced! As Aaron Levy, the CEO and co-founder of Box, recently wrote, 'We should expect that efficiency increases will actually mean more, not less. Demand for services in a bunch of fields.' As Aaron writes, 'When the cost of doing work goes down, the demand for it goes up. And usually there's a far more pent-up demand than we realize. In other words, as AI makes it cheaper, faster, and easier to do things like analyze MRIs, draft legal documents, and write code, we should expect that the demand for radiologists treatment plans, lawyers counsel, and engineers expertise will broadly increase, not decrease.

In his final letter to  Berkshire shareholders before as he puts it "he goes quiet", Warren Buffet in his signature style chronicles his journey , love for Omaha, lessons from his beloved colleagues and friends and shares nuggets of wisdom. Definitely don't miss the last bit - "A Few Final Thoughts." His advice: Don’t beat yourself up over past mistakes – learn at least a little from them and move on. It is never too late to improve. Get the right heroes and copy them.
